At the heart of it all is Ariel Pugh, whose passion for storytelling and puzzles inspires every adventure we create.

Before owning Worlds Away, Ariel was a devoted escape room fan, mastering puzzles, crafting stories, and running D&D campaigns.

When the chance came to buy the business in 2021, she jumped in to keep the adventure alive.

Located inside the Bright Center on Loudoun Street, Worlds Away has been part of Winchester’s entertainment scene since 2017.

Ariel’s mission is simple, keep the fun, imagination, and craftsmanship right here at home.

Every escape room is designed and built locally, unique to Winchester and made for its families, friends, and businesses.
